My father’s name is “Chester” and my mother’s name is “Leah” so that’s why my name is “Chelseya”. I was born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico. I am a full Native American Indian from the Navajo tribe.

After my high school graduation in 1999 I decided to follow my oldest brother’s footsteps and attend Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff, Arizona to pursue my education. In 2006 despite some difficult challenges I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication.

I previously worked as a graphic and web designer for the Institute for Human Development on the NAU campus and a small printing company in Chandler, AZ before joining the Mohave team. I’m so happy to be a part of the Mohave team, I feel that I will continue to grow and make a long time career here.

Aside from work I enjoy sewing, cooking, entertaining friends and family, going to the movies, watching football and basketball. My husband and I are big Arizona fans, Cardinals, Suns, Coyotes, and the Diamondbacks.
